Sabi River Sun Chalet 95 | 96: This contract commenced in March 2016 to July 2016.
The total size of the chalet contract was 255m2.
These two chalets were destroyed by a fire which resulted in the need for a total demolition of the structure, and a complete rebuilt was required. Whilst the rebuild took place the client requested an upgrade to the chalets that would serve as a pilot scheme to the rest of the planned chalet upgrades. It comprised the following, new tiles throughout the chalets, upgrading bathrooms with new sanitary ware and tiles. Wooden windows and new loft room with access staircase gave the chalets a fresh new look whilst keeping the theme of a Lowveld. The roof was thatched with Harvey tiles on top of the thatch in keeping with the appearance of the other surrounding chalets.
Kitchen was also upgraded, and the external patio entertainment area was given a modern clean look, with granite cladding to the fire place and kitchen counter tops. The loft area which was a wooden mezzanine floor was upgraded to a concrete floor with windows installed to make a third bedroom.
